H.265 is a high-efficiency video codec that offers amazing picture quality at a fraction of normal file sizes. In fact, the H.265 files we deliver are near impossible to tell apart from the master video but are only 7% of the file size. 10-bit video features over one billion different colors, allowing for true-to-life color and smooth gradients, while eliminating banding and other artifacts across large screens and maximizing their playback potential.
All of our backgrounds are captured at a minimum specification of 4K resolution with 10-bit color using cinema cameras with high dynamic range. We test and formulate the best settings for each camera to ensure peak performance in sharpness, detail, and dynamic range.
We capture all backgrounds with cinematic true to life motion blur using the industry standard 23.976 fps frame rate and 180° shutter angle. This ensures natural looking motion that audiences are familiar with as being cinematic.
Utilizing industry standard tools, each part of our workflow is fully optimized so there is zero loss in quality. We color grade and master all of our packs with DaVinci Resolve.
We've performed many in depth tests developing the best proprietary encoding process and settings to bring very high quality images with small file sizes. Our encoding sets a new standard in high quality images while leading the church media industry with the smallest files sizes.
